Bunkering Procedure Expertise
Our Bunkering Procedure is a carefully designed process that prioritizes precision, safety, and operational excellence when handling petroleum products during sea berthing. We start with detailed pre-bunkering preparations, including calculations and emergency procedures. The bunkering process is methodically controlled, ensuring constant monitoring for oil flow and tank capacity to uphold safety. After bunkering, independent inspections verify quantities, document transactions, and safely disconnect hoses. This commitment ensures secure and reliable handling of petroleum products, emphasizing our dedication to safety and operational excellence.
Ensuring precise calculation and confirmation of bunker tank filling, quantity, and sequence. Implementing emergency procedures to address potential oil spillage, delegating responsibilities among the crew, and conducting essential safety checks.
Methodically controlling the start with a low pumping rate, gradually increasing the pumping rate upon confirming oil flow, and vigilantly monitoring to prevent tank overfilling beyond 90% capacity.
Conducting thorough inspections by independent parties to confirm exact quantities transferred, verifying loaded bunker tank amounts against storage tank quantities, documenting and signing bunker receipts, and safely disconnecting hose connections after completion (ETS – End of Transfer).
